The Enchanted Forest is a Gardner Webb community service project designed to entertain and educate kids age 2-12 about the nocturnal animals that live in North Carolina and the importance of sustaining their woodland habitat.
Come join us for a wonderfully fun and safe evening. In addition to the Enchanted Forest which is our main event, we will also feature music and a kids painting activity.

5K / 10K Trail Race / September 16, 2017 RACE 2017A new 10K course this year! As usual, the race will begin at the Ranger Station, runners will use Riverside Drive to spread out, then down to the River Trail passing by the playground, heading west along the river and loops through the Wild Turkey and Jolly Mountain Trails, then turn north on the Jolly Mountain Trail, crossing a small creek onto the Burch Trail, then loop back to the River Trail, and finish at the playground.
Friday 3-7pm at the Ranger Station, 126 Broad River Road, Boiling Springs, NC
The Broad River Greenway is a 1500 acre preserve owned by Cleveland County and managed by a non-profit Board. The course follows a natural surface trail along the Broad River.

Register the day of event between 9:30 –11 am. Poker Run Trail opens at 10 am.
Sign in and ride out from the College Farm Trail Head. Use 2470 College Farm, Shelby, NC 28152 in your GPS.
Prizes awarded when last registered rider returns.
Donations will be accepted for lunch as you finish your ride.
Ride additional marked trails on your own after completing the Poker Run or bring used tack for sale or swap. Set up items at your trailer.
Greenway Poker Run t-shirts will be available for purchase the day of event.

The Wildflower Walk is an annual favorite. Join us for this easy guided walk along the beautiful trails at the Greenway. Local expert, Dr. Tom Jones, will entertain and educate as you enjoy a wonderful afternoon in the woods. Meet at Phifer Cabin!
